The hotel which has the only natural hot spring in Tsuwano.

The canal which is unique to Tsuwano is a treat as you enter the hotel which is built in the Japanese castle style. Wataya Renewals in 2008 include the lobby and a passage – also the entire building has traditional Japanese tatami (straw mat) floors.
Very popular with our guest, a bath with a view and the only natural hot spring in Tsuwano is located on the fifth floor. Moreover, the landscape surrounding the hot spring was created at the time of renewal, and is especially enjoyed by ladies. We have the following types of rooms available, Japanese-style rooms, Japanese and Western rooms, and Western-style rooms. In addition, three guest rooms with an open-air bath were newly built. There is also a large restaurant and a banquet hall, which can accommodate even large parties.
Meals are Kyoto style kaiseki cuisine and harnesses ingredients of every season.
We provide meals in a peculiar setting which is full of modern feeling, combining straw mat floors together with table and chairs.
Wataya is located in the center of town, making it convenient for travelers to enjoy the sights of town. Also flowers of the four seasons adorn the inside of the halls and rooms, creating a lovely atmosphere. Moreover, lighting and decorum convey a soft and heart-warming air.
