Historical castle town with the blessing of nature is Iwakuni City. Our hotel is on the alley of castle town, and close to Kintai-bridge. Hangetsuan is the scene of novel Ohan written by Japanese famous novelist, Uno Chiyo. Our hotel open 1869 as tea ceremony room, and has been very familiar to everybody as a Japanese cooking ryokan. There is rebuild building in the old gate. Clean and calm guest room and bath will cure you. We are proud of Japanese meal. The Japanese meal brings out the good taste of ingredients of meal, and use local meal of Iwakuni. Landlord is frank, and landlady is kind. So the atmosphere is as a home. The reason why many people visit Iwakuni is the same reason that many people visit Hangetsuan.
