The inn lasts over time.

Rosen is an inn that relocated a 130-year-old traditional house. It took about seven years to plan and sought old houses in the Izumo region. The reason why the owner insisted on relocating an old house in Izumo area was that he considered it would be good to relocate from the place which had the same climate. The relocated old house had been used as a private house until the very last minute, but it is well kept and less damaged. I would like to get close to the thoughts of the owner who cares about the house.

The exterior is majestic and has a solid sense of stability, and it is built quite well. There is no noise around, and it has a very quiet atmosphere. Carp swim in the pond, Once you come inside, you will be overwhelmed by the thickness and the number of the beam of the main house. The layout is almost the same as before relocation. If you take all the partition doors, the house will be one big hall. There is some space for relaxation in the mezzanine. The old structure of the house is left as much as possible, so you will be able to realize the goodness of good old Japanese architecture.

The maisonette-type guest room is a renovated storehouse. Being separated, you can spend your time in a very quiet space without constraint. There is a large open-air hot spring bath in the garden. You can relax in the hot spring while listening the breezing of the wind and whispers of the trees in the garden. It will be a luxury time with whispers of the trees in a quiet place as if time stopped .

This place is very quiet although it is located within 2-minute walk from Adachi Museum of Art, so you will be able to spend the slow-moving and quiet time of healing with your precious person at this inn where you can relax as if you were at your second house.
