| Features | Originally built in the 1920s as a vacation villa, this traditional house later served as a private family residence for many years. Upon entering, you are greeted by a traditional "Doma" (earthen floor entryway), which leads directly into the "Genkan-ma" (entrance hall). During the renovation, architectural research uncovered that this room was the original formal entrance where the master of the house would welcome esteemed guests. To honor this heritage, we have preserved its historical function, allowing you to experience the same warm welcome that visitors felt a century ago. |
